Why we have chosen these causes

Sadly, during this period of time people are financially struggling more than ever, at Power Maxed we believe in supporting our local community and giving back to those in need. Every child should be able to live without hunger and should enjoy the little luxuries that many of us take for granted -such as Easter eggs.

Power Maxed have chosen to support Waterloo Care Home as they provide care and support to the elderly in their time of need. Dementia care is a cause very close to our hearts, we are proud to be raising awareness of such an important part of our community. Due to the current climate, many elderly are unable to receive visits from their loved ones, as we know this can be detrimental to the mental well-being of those involved. Hopefully, we are able to raise the spirits of our elderly community at Waterloo House and provide a smile or two during these tough times.

Previous Fundraising

In the past we have helped raise money for a young man. Oscar Saxelby- Lee age 6. Oscar is a young boy whose cancer battle gripped the nations hearts. He fought a courageous battle with a rare childhood Leukaemia. Fortunately, he is now on the road to recovery and headed back to school in 2020.

With help from you guys we helped raise Oscar some of the money he needed to win his Leukaemia battle. We did this by holding a raffle, 200 numbers at £5 a ticket and a Silent Auction; where people messaged their bids instead of shouting!
